Cuddly Snugs came about by accident! An idea began to grow in my mind when my neice and sister-in-law were looking for someone to make a memory patchwork quilt for them.

The businesses they found all had such long waiting lists or were not quite right for them.

I thought the idea was a perfect way to preserve those early memories of a child's life and I've always enjoyed sewing (since I was a child!) so I thought that I would like to have a go at making a quilt.

I researched a LOT!!!! 

Quilting was not something I had ever attempted before, I had no idea there was so much to learn!

2 prototypes later, I felt I was ready to start the quilt, but I still wanted to step it up a notch and so my first quilt was made using nearly every new technique that I had learned, mosaic planning, applique, machine embroidery, stitch in the ditch, you name it, it was there!

I was so pleased with the final result, and knowing that my neice and sister-in-law loved the quilt was the best feeling!

I've now branched out into other memory keepsake items, especially animals! My customer's suggestions for new animals never ceases to amaze me!

I've re-discovered my passion for sewing and just want to go on creating beautiful things like this for everybody!
